Making Perl/DBI Easy

Jay Strauss

Tuesday August 13th 2002 at 7:00pm
OCC 128(c,d)

We'll cover the basics for using Perl and DBI to talk to a database. This class will be de-geekified and assume very limited Perl knowledge.

When we conclude you will be comfortable (hopefully):
a. Getting, installing, and configuring all the necessary software
b. Writing simple (and intermediate) scripts which connect to, query, and modify a database
