World Wide Web Standards

Harold A. Driscoll

Tuesday October 22nd at 7:00pm
College of Dupage Room SRC-1024

Behind the scenes on the World Wide Web sometimes resembles a caldron of alphabet soup....HTTP, HTML, PICS, Wilbur, Java, HotJava, Javascript, Jigsaw, ActiveX; the list seems endless. HTML has versions 2.0, 3.0, and now 3.2. Harold Driscoll will explore the various standards with you, explain how they fit together, and guide you to the standards documents.
